Kathmandu, There was a rapid flow of students during SI- UK Universities fair 22 (February 2020)at Annapurna Hotel. In addition, SI-UK of Director Mr. Adhikari has said that 677 have benefited by this fair.
Mr. Adhikari said that more students have participated than the expected numbers even they got a privilege of getting a counseling of Universities of UK, also SI-UK provide the online form for the students.
This education fair was organized in order to offer UK universities counseling since it is the right of students, also to grant scholarships along with post work after the studies even the life styles and culture of UK according to Mr. Adhikari. This Fair was inaugurated by former minister of finance government of Nepal Mr. Udaya Samsher Rana. There were presence of Province member: Bejuli Sharma, Expert Advisor to honorary Nepal Tourism minister Mr. Laxman Gautam,
Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ)General Secretary Mr. Ramesh Bista and assistant secretary Mr. Ram Prasad Dhahal, NRN Hong Kong President Ms. Radika Gurung and General secretary Gokarna Dhakal, ICC NRNA member member Dhasurm Parajuli, and NPCC UK Chairman Mr. Yvaraj Gurung, NRN UK executive member Ms. Tara Gurung and NRN Canada Mr. Avimanu Basnet, Lumbni Travels Mr. Buddhi Raj Gemire, and SI-UK business development director Mr. Cef Zivanzi, SI-UK Global Manager Mr. Pradip Adhikari. Ms. Arju Rana Nepali Congress could not make to attend this fair due to her health issues despite her presence sent message to SI- UK team.
According to data, every year 5000 students are facilitated on the behalf of SI-UK, 32000 students were enrolled in 2018 by SI-UK team. SI-UK has a vision to offer Scholarships for the backward, under-privilege and hardworking students of Nepal every year. Furthermore, SI-UK has planned to facilitate scholarships for Nepalese students at Universities of UK.
The numbers of students has increased for studying in UK even from Nepal and developed countries just because of job placement after completing their education moreover UK has terminated the member of Brexit recently.
SI UK encourages Nepali students to use their skills and ideas having finished their education in Nepal even to promote entrepreneurship.
